Default Skill purchasing

So often have a seen people get to ember light camp in under a few hours (one of my good freinds being one of them), where they can purchase all the skills in the game. I think that it may be a good idea to have skills cost less at locations other than ember light camp. This would promote more people actually going through different parts of the games to get skills not just rushing into ember light camp.

Um at any skill trader at any place is the same price as from here to ember light camp. Only diffrence changes when you buy skills, but it doesn't matter from what to where price it the same.

My necro can buy skills at Ember Light Camp at 50 gold each.

Some people don't wanna follow the storyline, many of my charcters do what you just said cause I think the jungle is a waste to go through again.

Plus, your characters can actually buy all skills at any trainer. Since the recent update, any skills unlocked can be purchased anywhere.

I just got my main character to unlock some skills for my necro (in Ember Light Camp, by the way) and BAM! I had a full-fledged Minion Master in Ascalon City with fiends and all that. Granted, he didn't have much energy or high Death Magic, but that's another story.

The point is, it's WAY to easy to get skills at the moment; no cool feeling when you arrive in a new place with a skill trainer. He has the same stuff as any other trainer! I think it was a horrible idea to let any trainer sell all your unlocked skills. All my necro has to look forward to is attributes, and that's not nearly as flashy as a new skills.

My 2 cents.

I actually think it's not a problem of "I want it now" as much as it is a problem of "I want to try something new."

Why create and play through the game again as an ele if it'll just be the same old fire nuking until end-game? What if you could try a different element from the get-go? Or what if you want to try playing a trapper at some point other than the end-game?

The trainers having all unlocked skills simply gives more variation and possibilities to repeat players.

If you want the excitement of getting new skills, then simply ignore the traders. Nothing's stopping you from earning them via skill quests and feeling rewarded by a shiny new skill.

Having unlocked skills for a new character can make him more exciting to play, and useful in a PuG. For example: My new character is a N/Mo, with access to every Mo skill courtesy of my first character. I can now advertise my secondary skill set if groups only want healers. Jenosavel gave the great example of nuker-element options. A warrior could use a hammer, etc. We may even see more PvE mesmers!

Everyone plays differently. You get out of the game what you put into it. I enjoy taking my characters through the game. I even enjoy the run from Beacons to Droks, I think its fun to die and watch the runner. I'm getting tired of people wanting to regulate how others play.

Im lvl 20, the only elite skill i have is battle rage. Im not even at ember light camp. I think that if players could teach other players skills, just like trading.
